So today was our first day of filming! We focused on filming bath scenes for our music video. The artist was in a romantic setting with bubbles, rose petals and candles. It looked great on camera but it was only after filming the actual scene itself that we noticed how it had no relevance to our song and did nothing to connote our main themes of love/devotion. Below are some screenshots of the footage.
We also took pictures for our magazine advert. After a long process of hair, makeup and nails, we actually got some really good pictures! However due to not having enough time we could not take as many as we wanted which left us with little choice. So we will be re taking these pictures but as a birds eye view so you see the artists body as well as making sure the the silk bed sheets are all around her and cover the whole bed. Overall the first day of filming for our music video was an eye opener because so many different angles, movements and shot types are needed for just one little scene. We are glad we experienced filming the bath scenes because it was only then we realised how unnecessary it was for our music video.
